tex-color: a brand of Meffert AG Farbwerke

The tex-color brand has always been aimed at all craftsmen looking for professional-quality paints, varnishes and plasters as well as decorative coatings and other special products. In 2003, Meffert AG Farbwerketook over the production site of the tex-color brand in Erfurt. In the two years that followed, we integrated the manufacturer into our corporate structure.   

In 2005, the brand was repositioned in the "specialist building materials trade" sales channel. 2006 saw the introduction of the brand, which was still unknown there, onto the selected sales channel.   

In 2016, our tex-color brand received the "Supplier of the Year" award from the hagebau DIY store.   

In 2021, tex-color celebrated its 15th anniversary and once again secured the award for Product of the Year - with the emulsion paint "Extrem Matt 1.0" from BaustoffMarkt and BaustoffWissen. 

Meffert AG Farbwerke has long been known for its excellent quality. With tex-color in particular, we focus on high product quality. In addition, tex-color has a very sophisticated product range. But tex-color is also a strong brand thanks to its excellently trained employees, who are on hand to advise our trading partners in all areas of the building materials trade.  

We produce and supply to the building materials trade. We also support craftsmen on their building sites and assist them in their acquisition activities. Marketing, however, is carried out exclusively via the specialist building materials trade.  

tex-color is the leading brand of Meffert AG Farbwerke in the building materials trade. Our dealer network is being and will continue to be consciously and systematically expanded. The aim is to achieve nationwide marketing of tex-color.
